The Securepool Pool-scope pool alarm is an affordable detection device, suitable for domestic or communal swimming pools and spas up to 72 m²  (eg. 12m x 6m).  The device transmits a loud audible warning of unauthorised entry - for example when a child or a large pet falls into a swimming pool.  The unit can be used as a stand-alone alerting system or - for maximum child protection - in conjunction with a pool safety fence or pool safety net.

The Securepool Pool-scope is approved by The Laboratoire National d’Essais (L.N.E.) - France’s consumer product testing body - having met the strict French and European pool safety standard NF P90 307 A/1.  This standard is one of the toughest in the world.  Many pool safety alarms - especially those imported from the USA - do not meet this standard and can therefore be prone to false alarms.  Any alarm which has to be frequently turned off as a result of false alarms cannot be considered reliable or safe.

 

FEATURES

  • An aesthetic design with a highly durable shell to impart superb structural integrity. Will withstand a person weighing 80kgs (175 lbs) standing on it. Resists impact, vibration, shock and the sun’s UV rays.

USING THE SYSTEM When you wish to swim in the pool, the Pool-scope is placed in standby mode using the remote control.  In standby, the device is still activated, but the siren no longer sounds.  As soon as everyone has left the pool, the device senses the lack of movement and automatically re-arms.  However, the system can also be manually re-armed using the remote control.

PRICE The Securepool Pool-scope costs just €499 (CY£292) including VAT and FREE delivery anywhere in Cyprus.  Delivery is by taxi service (eg. Akis Express), normally within 24 hours.

INSTALLATION The Pool-scope Pool Alarm is made for self-installation.  However, if you prefer, we can install the safety alarm for you.  Our installation will include a test for satisfactory performance and we will demonstrate use of the alarm.  The charge for installation is €125 (CY£73) including VAT.

WARRANTY The Pool-scope pool safety alarm is a French-made high quality product, manufactured in accordance with standard ISO 9001 v2000.  It comes with a two year warranty.
WARNING Unlike a pool safety fence, pool safety net or pool safety cover, a pool alarm cannot prevent a child from falling in a pool.  All it can do is to alert you to the fact that a child has fallen into your pool.  In the event of the siren sounding, rapid intervention by a competent individual is required.  Furthermore, use of a pool safety alarm is not a substitute for adult supervision of children and you should not leave children unattended near the swimming pool area.  The Poolscope is designed for standard-shaped swimming pools up to 72 m².  Larger or irregular-shaped swimming pools may require two or more devices; please contact us for further advice.  The batteries in the device should be replaced every six months.
