Cyprus swimming pool safety nets

Pool safety nets have been in use for over three decades, with hundreds of thousands installed worldwide.  A pool safety net offers a unique solution for preventing infants and toddlers from entering the swimming pool unseen and unheard.

This is achieved by providing a safe, secure pool safety barrier without impinging on the space surrounding the pool.  A safety net may therefore be more appropriate for pools in confined or difficult-to-access areas.  In this respect, a safety net preserves the ambience of the swimming pool area.

Another advantage of a pool safety net is that it is much cheaper than a safety cover and is also much quicker and easier to remove and replace than a cover.

A safety net does not obscure your view of the pool in the same way a cover does...and it also allows the warming rays of the sun through.

Our safety nets are constructed from pre-shrunk, UV stabilised HDPE (polyethylene) and are blue in colour to blend in with swimming pool environments.  Once in place, the safety net is retained by hooks attached to brass anchors drilled into, and mounted flush with, the pool surround.  Our pool safety nets come with a 5 year warranty.

Most children under 12 years old will be unable to remove the safety net.  And because we anchor and tension it so securely, they will be unable to crawl underneath the perimeter of the net.  Furthermore, the squares of the net are too small for a child's head or body to squeeze through...and too large to allow them to walk, play or jump on.  In fact, most children will be deterred from crawling on the safety net because it will feel course and uncomfortable.

An adult, on the other hand, can remove or replace the safety net quickly and easily.  Depending on the size and shape of the pool, this will typically take 3 to 6 minutes (for an 8 x 4m pool).  A series of pulleys is built into the centre of the safety net...and by pulling on the pulley rope, the tension is released.  The safety net can then be removed and rolled onto a portable PVC roller.  To place the net back onto the pool, the process is reversed.

Warning:  Pool Safety Nets are not a substitute for adult supervision of children.  Do not leave children unattended near the swimming pool area.
